How to use the Eloqua connection in BlueConic to exchange customer data

What: The Eloqua connection allows you to synchronize customer data fields in Eloqua into BlueConic profile properties.

Schedule Settings

Connection Settings

Enter your Eloqua username, password, and company name. After mapping profile properties into Eloqua below, select the unique identifier that should be used to match data between the systems.

Mapping BlueConic profile properties into Eloqua

Click Add Transfer Mapping to add a new field mapping from BlueConic to Eloqua. At least one of the mappings must be a BlueConic unique identifier.

Hover over a mapping and click the delete icon on the right to delete it.

Mapping options:

Eloqua System Field Name
Enter the name of the Eloqua field you want to map BlueConic data to.
BlueConic Profile Property
Search and select the BlueConic profile property that you want to map to the Eloqua field.

Privacy management

Connections can be added to Objectives, allowing for privacy management of the information that is being picked up. A connection will only process the profiles of visitors who have consented to at least one of the objectives that the connection is linked to.
