About Real-Time Sync
Real-Time Sync enables you to populate BlueConic profiles with data from external sources at the moment someone interacts with your brand's digital channels. This significantly reduces wait times, since you no longer have to rely on manual connection runs or scheduled batch imports to load this data. It also allows you to make decisions and execute campaigns more efficiently, since you now have more control over how you activate your data.
This feature is especially noteworthy because it is part of our vision of creating a more modular and composable CDP. In this era of composable innovation, Real-Time Sync allows you to streamline data strategies and ease the load of your (likely overloaded) data teams.
Real-Time Sync for Snowflake
Real-Time Sync is available for data stored in Snowflake. The feature works seamlessly with both Standard and Hybrid Snowflake data tables.
If you use Snowflake as your data warehouse, you can use the Snowflake Connection in BlueConic (described below) to set up this real-time data retrieval and ensure that any user interactions with your brand can be enriched with data stored in Snowflake for more relevant personalization.
How it works
Real-Time Sync triggers data retrieval from Snowflake via an API when a user engages with an online channel where the BlueConic script is deployed or accesses a mobile app using the BlueConic SDK.
Note: Through the "Channels" setting on the connection's Set up and run page, you can select specific channels on which you want the Snowflake real-time import to be active.
Once data is retrieved and loaded into BlueConic, you can take action on it–using it for personalization, decision-making, etc.–like you would any other data in your CDP.
