Removing a Connection

This article describes how to remove or delete instances of a BlueConic Connection from your tenant. You can also remove the Connection plugin entirely. Deleting and removing unused Connections helps maintain the performance of your tenant.

Removing instances of a connection

  1. Navigate to the Connections tab from the BlueConic menu bar.

  2. Search for the Connection by name among your existing connections.
    Note: In the search Columns drop-down, select the Plugin field to display a list of connection instances and the plugin that created them.

  3. Open each instance of the connection, click the drop-down arrow to the right of Save and select Delete.

Removing a connection plugin

BlueConic has a range of plugins offered in the Plugins gallery. Select Settings > Plugins to open the Plugins page. Here you can add, update, or delete a plugin. Notice in the sidebar, the Related Items box shows any current or related instances of this plugin.

If a plugin has been deprecated or needs to be removed, follow the steps below.

  1. In the Settings > Plugin page of BlueConic, select the plugin you would like to delete. 
    Note: You will not be able to create instances of this connection after deleting its plugin. 
  2. In the Plugin page for this connection, click the Save drop-down menu, and select Delete.
    Take this step only if you are sure you no longer need the plugin. Contact BlueConic Support if you need assistance or have any questions.
