Updates to funnel listener & funnel visualization

Last month we announced our funnel listener and visualization. That feature is now ready, and we think you will love it! We’ve already overheard a customer saying “can BlueConic do THAT?!” when they saw it for the first time. A picture says more than a thousand words:

From the visualization, not only can you tell at which step of the funnel users are dropping off – both at the aggregate and segment level – you can also drill into any given step to see which form fields were in focus before abandoning.

Segments and interactions can be created directly from the visualization. This is a great insight, and it’s highly actionable as well. That’s what we call a win-win!

Visual Form Listener

Attentive readers might have noticed that we introduced the visual form listener last month, but you couldn’t find it in the BlueConic Gallery right away. We made some last minute changes to make the form listener even better, and decided to postpone the release. It’s been there for a bit now – if you missed the last update, you can read more about the visual form listener there. To use this listener, you may need to visit Settings > Plugins to add the plugin to your BlueConic instance.

A flurry of new connections:

Visual Website Optimizer

Some of our customers use testing platforms like Optimizely and VWO instead of BlueConic’s built-in personalization optimization suite. Like our Optimizely connection, our VWO connection allows you to use all of your integrated first-party and customer data to test against specific audiences.

 Salesforce Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget)
Our ESP connection roster just got a whole lot bigger! Customers have been integrating with ET data extensions using profile export for some time, but now it is possible to create a direct connection to ExactTarget to share first-party and customer data for triggered emails and segmentation.

 Usabilla
While BlueConic can be used to survey your users and store collected data in their profiles, as a customer data platform we have quite a bit more to focus on. If your organization has a high maturity level for VOC (Voice of Customer!) analytics and optimization, integrations like our Usabilla Connection will come in handy! Target surveys based on data from any of your systems, and route response data into them with the aid of your other BlueConic Conncetions!

 Relay42
Yet another way to connect your first-party customer data with advertising platforms! Here’s the Relay42 DMP Connection.

 PostUp
Two ESP additions in the month! We’ve added PostUp by request, and will add others as needed for our customers. These ESP connections are a great way to quickly and easily share first-party and customer data for triggered emails and segmentation.

Upcoming blog posts will focus on the business value of these connections. Watch www.blueconic.com/blog for more!

Upcoming Features

Here's a quick rundown of some of the things we're working on that should be announced/available soon:

Area Updates!
Segmentation UI
  • Move profile property search box to top of selection area.
  • Clicking on a profile property in the segment overview once will show the details, clicking again will collapse the details
Segmentation Options
  • Create an "inverse" segment, that is a segment which is 100% mutually exclusive from an existing segment.
  • More easily filter based on profile properties that are empty or not empty. For example, we’ve made it more intuitive to build a segment for profiles with no email address yet, or who do have an email address in the system.
Slide-out Interaction
  • Similar to work done with the Toaster and Lightbox interaction plugins, this will allow you to select from slide-out templates when building a dialogue with this interaction type.
  • Additional styling settings, appear/close settings, and custom JavaScript settings will also be available.
Connections
  • Google Customer Match Connection
  • CampaignMonitor ESP Connection

As usual, we’ve worked quite hard to bring these sweet new features to you, and we’re going to keep them coming. We love to hear what you think – together we can make improvements to the best CDP there is. Please send us a note by replying to this email!
