The Banner dialogue displays an image with a clickable URL as a dialogue in BlueConic. Use it to show a promotional image on your website or in open time email dialogues.
Before you begin
You have permission to create dialogues in BlueConic.
You have an image file ready to upload.
You know the destination URL for the image click.
Configure the Banner Dialogue
1. Select the Banner plugin
Navigate to Dialogues in the main navigation bar.
Click Add dialogue.
Select Banner from the gallery.
Enter a name for the dialogue.
Click Save.
2. Define your audience and timing
Use the Who, When, and Where tabs to define who sees the banner, when it appears, and on which pages or channels.
3. Configure the banner
In the What tab, configure the following:
Image: Upload the image to display. Drag a file to the upload area or click Select from your computer.
URL: Enter the destination URL. Visitors who click the image are directed to this address.
4. Activate the dialogue
Save the dialogue.
Test it on your live site or in the simulator.
Toggle the dialogue to On when ready.
