A BlueConic Timeline stores events to capture information about the timing and sequence of events for a BlueConic profile. A Timeline belongs to a profile and includes the set of all events belonging together for that profile.
Default settings: By default, you can store a maximum of 250 events per profile. Events are stored as high-priority or low-priority events. You can store 200 high-priority events and the rest are low-priority events. After the first 200 high-priority events are stored, the oldest get deleted first. Low-priority events are deleted after 30 days, or when they exceed the storage limit.
Customizing event storage times
When you create Timeline event types in BlueConic, you can set that event type's priority to Low or High. You can also specify how long events of this type should be stored in the system, using the Retention period setting for that Timeline event type.
To see the priority and retention setting of an individual Timeline event type, navigate to More > Timeline events > Timeline event types and click that event type from the table. High-priority events can persist indefinitely or for a fixed period of time.
