How to use the Eloqua connection in BlueConic to exchange customer data

Schedule Settings

Connection Settings

Enter your Eloqua username, password, and company name. After mapping Eloqua fields to BlueConic profile properties below, you can select the unique identifier used to match data between the systems.

Mapping Eloqua data to BlueConic profile properties

Click Add transfer mapping to add a new field mapping from Eloqua to BlueConic. At least one of the mappings must be a BlueConic unique identifier.

To delete a mapping, you can hover over the mapping and click the delete icon on the right.

Mapping options:

Eloqua system field name
Enter the name of the Eloqua field you want to map to BlueConic data.
BlueConic profile property
Search and select the BlueConic profile property to which you want to map the imported Eloqua data point.

Save your settings and refer to Scheduling Connections to set up a run schedule for this connection.

Privacy management

Connections can be added to Objectives, allowing for privacy management of the information that is being picked up. A connection will only process the profiles of visitors who have consented to at least one of the objectives that the connection is linked to.
