New listeners: (Adblock detection and URL based Interest Ranker)

AdBlock detection

This listener detects whether or not a visitor is using an AdBlocker, and will store this value (yes/no) in the profile.

In this way you get better insights in how many of your visitors are actually using this, and it allows you to execute pro-active strategies to deal with it.
Our customer success manager has written two excellent blogs to provide some inspiration for this.

Interest ranking based on URL structure

This interest ranker automatically stores a visitor's interest based on the part of the site that somebody is visiting most frequently, and using the terms that appear in the different levels of your URL.

For example if somebody frequently visits the page
"taylor-shop.com/products/electronics/laptops/apple/macbookpro.htm"
this will lead to the following interest being stored in his profile:

  • level 1: products
  • level 2: electronics
  • level 3: laptops
  • level 4: apple
  • level 5: macbook pro

New Insights: Batch connection run history, Profile Difference Analysis

Batch connection run history

This insight gives an overview of the last 100 runs of all batch connections that are active on your system.

Profile difference analysis

This interactive insight can be used to find out how two groups of visitors differ from each other. You select two groups to compare (e.g. two different segments, or people that clicked a certain dialogue versus people that didn't).
The insight will then analyze what profile values are most different between these two groups. These characteristics then can form a good basis for further look-alike modeling or behavior prediction.

New connections: Tealium, Qubit

These connections offer typical Tag Management connectivity. BlueConic can pass on the following variables to these systems:

  • BlueConic Profile ID
  • Segments
  • Profile Properties
  • Permission Level
  • Interactions viewed
  • Text

Custom Profile Import

This batch connection will schedule a CSV import. Based on a unique identifier (e.g. an email address) in the CSV this connection will either update existing profiles containing that identifier or create new profiles.

Eloqua and MailChimp (available soon)

These two batch connections allow information exchange with Eloqua and MailChimp respectively.
