Integrate: Build a single source of customer data truth

With BlueConic, you can build a single source of customer data truth in unified customer profiles. Using BlueConic connections, you can import and export profile data to synchronize your customer data across your entire marketing technology ecosystem, reducing or eliminating the cost of storing redundant or bad data.

Before you begin

Learning about your customers often means collecting data from other systems using BlueConic connections to or export import customer data. The example below uses the BlueConic SFTP Connection, but the process is similar for other marketing connections. See the range of connections offered in BlueConic.

Collect data

You can use BlueConic Connections to synchronize your customer data with other marketing data sources. By importing data, you can build more unified profiles and target audiences based on smarter segmentation. Exporting profile data from BlueConic to other systems means you can leverage your first-party data from BlueConic in all your marketing campaigns.

BlueConic offers over 60 certified connections, including Facebook Advertising, Google Universal Analytics, SFTP, MailChimp, and more. See the full list of BlueConic connections.

Add a new connection

When you open the Connections tab in BlueConic for the first time, you see the existing connections navigation list. This list displays connections that are available in your BlueConic environment.

To use a connection, click the Add connection button to select from the gallery:

In this example, we will create an SFTP connection to send and receive profile data via CSV files to and from another marketing system. Search or scroll down to find and select the SFTP Connection.

On the Set up and run page, data exchange shows the total number of unique profiles that have been imported or exported via the connection. Note that these are unique profiles. If the same profile is exported multiple times, it is counted as 1.

The Connection - Profiles In/Out Insight shows the number of unique profiles exchanged through the connection. In the example shown here, 73K profiles were imported to BlueConic, and 103K profiles exported from BlueConic through the SFTP connection.
