Tailor experiences using CRM data BluePrint

With the Tailor experiences using CRM data BluePrint, you will leverage CRM data and use BlueConic profiles to recognize individuals and tailor their experience when interacting with them.

The Tailor experiences using CRM data BluePrint is one of a number of goal-oriented BluePrints available.

 

Creating the program

Open the BluePrints menu and click a marketing goal to start up a BluePrint.

The BluePrint will begin, taking you to a page that explains the purpose and actions required to create a marketing automation program within BlueConic. You will be guided through four steps: "Collect", "Assemble", "Segment" and "Deliver". Along the way, text highlighted blue will offer additional explanation when hovered over. Click [Let's go!] to start the process.

 

Collect

In the "Collect" step you make a selection of the available sources of customer data from a list of recommended collectors, or click "Show all Data Collectors" to see all choices. Click a listener to select or deselect it.

Click the [Confirm Collectors] button to confirm your selection and proceed to the "Assemble" step.

Click [Skip to Segment] to ignore your selection, skip the "Assemble" step and move straight to the "Segment" step. This can come in handy if you simply want to use tailor experiences of visitors, leaving the details of selecting what to collect and assemble to the BluePrint.

Click [Back to Introduction] to back out of the "Collect" step and return to the previous screen.

 

Assemble

In the "Assemble" step you choose and confirm which profile properties will be used. The profile properties listed are those populated by the listeners selected in the "Collect" step.

If you see profile properties that you do not need for this program you can deselect them.

Please note: after the last step, the BluePrint will validate your selections and report corrected results back to you. This validation will catch properties that were forgotten accidentally, or properties that were added that were irrelevant to achieve the goal of the program. In other words, relax! You cannot make fatal mistakes here. The BluePrint has your back.

Press the [Confirm Profile Properties] button to continue to the next step, or press the [Back to Collector Selection] button to back out to the previous step.

 

Segment

The "Segment" step allows you to choose from existing segments or create new segments to deliver to your advertising partners.

If possible, the BluePrint will present recommended segments based on the profile properties from the previous step. Click "Show all Segments" to see the list of all segments. If you have many segments to choose from, you can utilize the search box to quickly find what you need. Select segments that you would like BlueConic to export to your advertising partners. You can also create new segments on the fly by pressing the [Create Segment] button. Please note: you might select a segment that depends on profile properties that haven't been selected yet. No worries! The BluePrint will validate the settings in the last step and add missing profile properties and collectors where needed.

Press [Confirm Segments] to confirm your selection of segments and proceed to the next step.

Press [Back to Assemble] to go to the previous step.

 

Delivery

In the "Deliver" step you create the dialogue that you want to show to the selected segment of visitors. You see a table with all selected segments. To create a dialogue, start by selecting when you want to deliver your unique dialogue. Either when the visitor lands on the page, or when the visitor exits the page. Note that you can actually have one dialogue for landing and one for exiting, but you will have to create the dialogues one by one. This is why the other selection box will grey out as soon as you select one option.

 

Click [Create Dialogue] to start creating your unique dialogue. Select the type of message you want to present. Choose one of the recommended message types, or click "Show all message types" to choose from all available types:

 

When you are ready to create the message, click [Select Dialogue Type] to start creating your unique dialogue. You can now edit the dialogue as you would normally do on the "Interaction" tab of a regular dialogue.

When you are done selecting click [Done Creating Dialogue], name the new dialogue and click [OK].

You can repeat this dialogue creation process and opt to copy the contents of dialogues that you created earlier or create them new.

If you want to return to the previous step click [Back to Segment Selection].

 

Next, you can determine the state of each dialogue that you created:

Click [Accept Dialogue States] when you are done selecting, or click [Back to Dialogue Creation] when you want to return to the previous step.

After accepting the dialogue states you get to see an overview:

Click [Back to Delivery Selection] to return to the previous step, or click [Create Program] to create a new program including a new dashboard to show statistics on the program. You will be taken to the program overview screen.

 

Cancelling

If, at any time, you feel like cancelling the creation of the program, click the [x] button or click outside of the lightbox to close the lightbox and cancel the process. A confirmation dialogue will appear to verify if you really want to close the BluePrint; press [Yes, close] to remove the program or press [No, cancel] to return to the BluePrint without removing any data.
