The Enrich your CRM database with digital insights BluePrint will deliver online data from BlueConic to your customer relationship management (CRM) system of choice. BlueConic does so by collecting and aggregating individual users' activity and intent across digital touchpoints and shuttling it to the customer database you choose.
The Enrich your CRM database with digital insights BluePrint is one of a number of goal-oriented BluePrints available.
Creating the program
Open the BluePrints menu and click the marketing goal to start up a BluePrint.
The BluePrint will begin, taking you to a page that explains the purpose and actions required to create a marketing automation program within BlueConic. You will be guided through four steps: "Collect", "Assemble", "Segment" and "Deliver". Along the way, text highlighted blue will offer additional explanation when hovered over. Click [Let's go!] to start the process.
In the "Collect" step you make a selection of the available sources of real-time behavioral data from a list of recommended collectors, or click "Show all Data Collectors" to see all choices. Click a listener to select or deselect it.
Click the [Confirm Collectors] button to confirm your selection and proceed to the "Assemble" step.
Click [Back to Introduction] to back out of the "Collect" step and return to the previous screen.
If you have yet to configure a CRM connection with BlueConic, you will be prompted to do so here. Visit the Settings > Connections tab to get started.
In the "Assemble" step you choose and confirm which profile properties will be used. The profile properties listed are those populated by the listeners selected in the "Collect" step.
If you see profile properties that you do not need for this program you can deselect them.
Please note: after the last step, the BluePrint will validate your selections and report corrected results back to you. This validation will catch properties that were forgotten accidentally, or properties that were added that were irrelevant to achieve the goal of the program. In other words, relax! You cannot make fatal mistakes here. The BluePrint has your back.
Press the [Confirm Profile Properties] button to continue to the next step, or press the [Back to Collector Selection] button to back out to the previous step.
All segments that the visitor is part of will automatically be sent to your CRM database. The "Segment" step allows you to create additional segments to deliver to your advertising partners, this is optional.
Click the [Create Segment based on chosen Profile Properties] button if you want create additional segments. Learn more about segment definitions in Using Segments.
Press [Confirm Segments] to confirm the (optional) extra segments and proceed to the next step.
Press [Back to Assemble] to go to the previous step.
In the "Delivery" step you select the advertising partners you would like BlueConic to deliver the information to. This is also where you enter the information that is needed to make a connection with the partner.
Select the CRM system that you would like to connect to, or configure a scheduled CSV export. If the connection requires extra information, you will see text boxes to add the required information.
When you are done selecting click [Select Deliver System]. If you want to return to the previous step click [Back to Segment Step].
You will see an overview of your selections in all previous steps:
Click [Create Program] to create a program from your selections. If you want to return to the previous step click [Back to Delivery Selection].
If, at any time, you feel like cancelling the creation of the program, click the [x] button or click outside of the lightbox to close the lightbox and cancel the process. A confirmation dialogue will appear to verify if you really want to close the BluePrint; press [Yes, close] to remove the program or press [No, cancel] to return to the BluePrint without removing any data.
