What: The Krux connection allows BlueConic customers to feed segment data or profile information to Krux.
About BlueConic: BlueConic is a Customer Data Platform that harnesses the data required to power the recognition of an individual at each interaction, and then synchronizes their intent across the marketing ecosystem. Click here to learn more.
Why: By sending segmentation and profile property data to your advertising platform, you can more effectively reach targeted audiences with digital ads. You can stop targeting entire segments of visitors who are not a good fit for your advertising campaigns, or create new look-alike audiences based on data from your highest performing known and anonymous users.
Configuring the connection
About the Krux Connection
Setting up the connection is partly done in Krux, partly in BlueConic. When the connection is active, BlueConic will add a data layer to your web pages called BlueConicDataLayer.
Enter the name of this data layer, and expected items to export, to a Krux Data Specification Template. This template can be required via Krux. Once Krux has configured your account, you can add and remove items to export into Krux via the menu item "Export data to Krux" at any time.
Export data into Krux
To map information into Krux, select a BlueConic profile property or all associated segments, then type the name of the related Krux field next to it:
Do not export profile properties to Krux that contain personally identifiable information, such as a name, an address, an email or a digital identity.
The Krux Connection is a certified plugin.
