Initial URL opened by the Visual Picker

The initial URL opened by the Visual Picker depends on where in BlueConic you are working and what specific settings have been defined. The table below explains how the initial URL is selected. For each part of BlueConic, the order that the Visual Picker steps through from top to bottom to determine the initial URL is explained. The Visual Picker opens to the first valid URL that is found.

  2. The home page of the current channel.
  3. The home page of the channel with the most activity in the domain with the most activity among all the domains that the user belongs to.
  4. The preview URLs of the positions defined in the primary channel of the user.
  5. The home page(s) of the host aliases in the domains to which the user belongs.
Where tab of an interaction/optimizer
  1. The Preview URL of the selected channel position.
  2. The home page of the current channel.
  3. The home page(s) of the host aliases of the current channel.
Conversion setting for an interaction/optimizer
  1. The defined "Conversion URL" (if defined).
  2. The home page of the channel currently defined on the Where tab for the interaction/optimizer.
  3. The home page of the channel with the most activity in the domain with the most activity among all the domains that the user belongs to.
  4. The preview URLs of the positions defined in the primary channel of the user.
Enrich Profile by Visitor Behavior interaction/optimizer
  1. The Preview URL of the selected area.
  2. The home page of the channel currently defined on the Where tab for the interaction/optimizer.
  3. The home page of the channel with the most activity in the domain with the most activity among all the domains that the user belongs to.
  4. The preview URLs of the positions defined in the primary channel of the user.
Enrich Profile By Visitor Input interaction/optimizer
