What: The Cheetah Digital Marketing Suite (formerly Experian) connection allows you to create or enrich records in Cheetah Digital Marketing Suite with data from BlueConic. This connection supports real-time export.
About BlueConic: The BlueConic customer data platform (CDP) harnesses the data required to power the recognition of an individual at each interaction, and then synchronizes their intent across the marketing ecosystem.
Why: Drive Cheetah Digital relevancy with first-party data. By sharing BlueConic segmentation and profile information with Cheetah Digital, you can enable highly relevant online and offline campaigns based on real-time segmentation.
Creating a Cheetah Digital Marketing Suite Connection
To have the Cheetah Digital Marketing Suite Connection added to your tenant, contact your BlueConic Customer Success Manager.
- Click Connections in the BlueConic navigation bar.
- Click Add Connection.
- A pop-up window appears. Enter "Cheetah" in the Search bar.
- Click Cheetah Digital connection.
The Cheetah Digital connection page opens. You can expand or collapse the metadata fields (favorite, labels, and description) by clicking the gray chevron at the top of the page. - Enter a name for your connection at the top of the page.
Configuring a Cheetah Digital connection
Setting up the connection
Configuring your Cheetah Digital connection starts with authenticating yourself with Cheetah and allowing BlueConic to access to your account.
- Click Set up in the left panel.
- In the Authentication section, choose an Endpoint.
- Enter your Consumer key.
You retrieve this key from you Cheetah Digital Marketing Suite environment by selecting Data Integration in the left-hand menu and selecting API Keys in the Settings chapter. Make sure to use an OAuth 2 key. - Enter your Consumer secret.
You can find this in your Cheetah Digital Marketing Suite environment by selecting API Keys in the Settings chapter (as in step 3). Make sure to use an OAuth 2 key.
To make the connection work, you have to add an export goal, save your settings, and switch the connection on.
Next, you specify what purpose the connection will serve. You can set up export goals to synchronize user data between BlueConic and Cheetah Digital Marketing Suite.
Exporting data from BlueConic to Cheetah Digital Marketing Suite
In the left-hand panel, select Export data to Cheetah Digital Marketing Suite and follow the steps laid out in the export goal.
- Select BlueConic segments.
Only profiles in the segment(s) you choose will be exported to Cheetah Digital Marketing Suite. - Select BlueConic triggers.
Choose one or more profile properties, and a change to of these profile properties will trigger that profile to be exported. - Enter Cheetah Digital Marketing Suite API Post ref ID.

The Cheetah mapping fields you add in this step should be listed in the same table as the identifier you selected in step 4.
BlueConic profile data is exported whenever the value of one of the configured profile properties set as a trigger changes for the individual profile.
Connection status
The logos at the top of the page provide an overview of the connection status:
A green arrow going from BlueConic to Cheetah signifies that data is being exported or available for export. If there are errors in the connection, a red warning icon appears. Click the icon to find out what needs to be fixed.
Privacy management
Connections can be added to Objectives, allowing for privacy management of the information that is being picked up. A connection will only process the profiles of customers or visitors who have consented to at least one of the objectives the connection is linked to.
